CorsicanaThe Inn
The Inn is a no-cost residential program for women ages 18 and older, with or without children, who are ready to stop using alcohol and other drugs to cope with life and are seeking a healthier way forward. (Corsicana Men’s homes currently under construction and proposed to be open Summer 2026)
Residents may receive housing and wraparound support services at no cost for 15 to 100 days after exiting jail or treatment. Length of stay is determined on a case-by-case basis and is tailored to the individual’s needs, stability, and recovery goals.
The Inn Academy
The Inn Academy is a workforce and life-development program designed to help individuals build stability, confidence, and long-term independence. Participants have access to paid job training in our thrift store, no-cost and low-cost transportation options, affordable childcare solutions, career and life coaching through weekly or monthly accountability meetings, budgeting sessions, and assistance in earning a GED or online certification. We also provide guidance and support for purchasing a reliable cash vehicle.
Through strong partnerships with trusted local providers, participants are connected to parenting classes, medication management, MAT programs, no-cost and sliding-scale therapy, and other essential support services. All Academy services are available in person or virtually, creating flexible pathways for individuals and families working toward a more stable and self-sufficient future.

Beds start as low as $90 per week, with all bills included. Homes are fully furnished and include laundry access and basic household supplies. We offer shared rooms and single rooms in gender-specific homes, single parent homes, small family housing, and select housing options for adults with pets. Residents have access to supportive resources designed to strengthen stability, employment, and personal growth, and they are encouraged to advocate for what they need during this phase of the program.
The maximum length of stay is two years, with extensions granted on a case-by-case basis when appropriate. Participation in all three of our programs is not required; individuals who have completed another qualifying program may enter directly into The Inn Community if a bed is available. Priority placement, however, is given to those who complete the full program pathway.

Lindsay went through the entire Shepherd Inn Corsicana program, all three phases in 13 months after 90 days in rehab. She moved in straight from treatment, had her baby one month later, completed our job training program, saved her money, attended trauma and addiction recovery classes as well as parenting classes. She purchased a cash car and now lives in her own two bedroom two bath apartment with her best friend in recovery and their beautiful kiddos!
Kevin came to Shepherd Inn Dallas 10 months sober after completing another program. He lived in our Dallas Men’s complex for 14 months, bought a cash truck, worked a program of recovery, paid off debt and saved his money until he was ready to get his own apartment in the area. He celebrated 2 years clean and sober in December 2025 and we are so proud of his accomplishments!
